The Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) is a data that conveys information about the level of community satisfaction obtained from quantitative and qualitative measurements of public opinion.
Given the main function of the Sonobudoyo State Museum as an institution that serves and provides education related to history and culture, the Sonobudoyo Museum needs to continue to strive to improve service quality. The measure of the success of service delivery is determined by the level of satisfaction of the service recipients. Service recipient satisfaction is achieved when service recipients obtain services as needed and expected.
One of the efforts to improve the quality of public services is to require a standard as a benchmark for assessing the level of service quality. In addition, data on public satisfaction can be used as an assessment material for service elements that need improvement and become a driving force for each service provider unit to improve the quality of its services.
The implementation of the Community Satisfaction Index survey has been stipulated in the Decree of the Minister for Administrative Reform No. 14 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for Preparation of Service Unit IKM for Government Agencies. Which is one measuring tool to determine the level of community satisfaction with a service. The index number obtained is the number of public perceptions of government services that measure the level of service quality. The answer category consists of four levels, from the unfavorable level given a score of 1 (one) to the very good level and given a value of 4 (four).
