Sonobudoyo Sharing Session “The Story Behind the Museum Exhibition”

Sonobudoyo Sharing Session was held again through the IG live Museum Sonobudyo on Friday,July 10, 2020.

The Sharing Session was located at the Unit 1 Sonobudoyo Museum, which is the permanent exhibition site of the museum. The theme of the Sharing Session is “The story behind the Museum Exhibition”,  we present two speakers who are expertise they are Ryan Saputra and Sonny Saifuddin. Both of whom are cultural leaders in the museum field. They kindly share about various preparations made to make museum exhibitions.

As for the steps taken in making the exhibition starting from discussions with the museum team that produced a concept. This concept is a basic idea that is supported by research that has been done by the museum team. But, not infrequently this concept arises from the idea of Sahabat Sonobudoyo.

After processing the concept, a storyline is made in which the storyline narrates in detail the concepts discussed earlier. In making this storyline, the museum team creating a storyline that will be realized through the collections on display. After the storyline are done and ready, then the design of the supporting event was made and proceed to the production process.

Sonobudoyo Museum has held various exhibitions, besides permanent exhibitions that can be visited in Sonobudoyo Museum Unit 1, they also held temporary exhibitions, exhibitions at the local level, regional, national and even international.
