When and where is the workshop held?

This traditional dance workshop is available every Saturday at 09.00-12.00 WIB and Sunday at 13.00-15.00 WIB. This activity takes place at the Semar Building, which is also known as Pendopo Timur, in the Sonobudoyo Museum area.

What will you get in the workshop?

For three full hours, visitors will be trained in various Yogyakarta Gagrak dances, such as ukel, mendhak, and many more. No need to worry if this is your first time trying, because the dance instructors here are very friendly, patient and professional. They will guide each participant carefully, from basic movements to the artistic aspects of the dance itself.
