     Joint exhibition of Museum in Indonesia in 2017 in the framework of 42nd anniversary of Taman Mini "Indonesia Indah" was officially opened yesterday (20/04/2017) The exhibition took place on 20 - 23 April 2017 at Gedung Sasana Kriya Taman Mini Indonesia Indah Jakarta.

     On this occasion, Sonobudoyo Museum showcased Wayang Kulit collection of Sonobudoyo Museum with the theme: "Dadya Teguh Occurred: The True Way of a Knight". The theme tells about the journey of the themed plays of the Knights namely Bimasuci. In general we can take the lesson that the Knights must have a balanced intellectual and character. As in the quotation of the Fiber Dewa Ruci "Sing awaruh arta power, firm dad arises" who understands the power of art, it will make a knight achieve what is called the sanctity of life.

     In Javanese life, wayang occupies a central role as a reflection of self-understanding and the environment. In Javanese, the word Wayang means "shadow" or can be interpreted as a reflection of the traits of the human soul, such as anger, virtue, greed and others.

     Sonobudoyo Museum is one of the museums in Indonesia that still exist to keep the cultural collections in the form of Purwa Wayang Kulit mostly classified old wayang puppets aged hundreds of years from the period of Sultan Hamengku Buwono II to VII. From some wayng old collection of Sonobudoyo Museum, wayang "Knights" becomes the most special. The "Knight" puppets are rarely displayed openly because of their associated historical and academic values ??and functions that are often used as research reference.
