The second community education in April this time at the Sonobudoyo Museum took the theme of 'How to Attract People to Visit Museum: Lesson Learn from the Netherlands'. Invited speakers on this occasion are Coco Druivendoor (Netherlands) and Dr. Ir. Sumbo Tinarbuko (lecturer of Visual Communication Design at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta).
Coco Druivendoor explains how the museum in the Netherlands made an exciting innovation to attract the interest of its citizens into the museum. After that, Dr. Sumbo Tinarbuko which states 3 important keys in rebranding a museum are: 1) Collaboration with campus / university, community, mass media, government, and entrepreneur. 2) Creating a synergistic and sustainable concept. 3) Effective communication process with community or society at large.
This time the activity exceeds the quota determined from the initial quota of only 30 participants to 50 participants. May all elements benefit from the action.
