Healthy Walk in the Context of International Museum Day (IMD) 2015

        Sunday, 6/14/2015 Healthy Way has carried out activities in Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta. Healthy road was opened by Mr. Omar Priyono, M. Pd as Head of Culture DIY around 06.30 pm. Participants of this healthy path consists of children - children to adults, the participants around a thousand participants. Healthy walking activities is a series of celebrations of International Museum Day (IMD) 2015 held by the Department of Culture in collaboration with the Consultative Body DIY Musea (Barahmus) DIY.

         After a healthy walk is finished, the event continued with a ceremonial celebration of International Museum Day 2015. The event was enlivened with dance performances from the community Come Dancing. Furthermore, namely speech from the Chairman of AMI, Mr. Putu Supadma Rudana, MBA. He appreciates this kind of activity. He advised to voice the glory  in Indonesian museum in the uplift of the nation's cultural heritage. In addition he revealed that the museum is the highest house of culture, civilization and eternal home houses a source of inspiration for all parties.

        Then the subsequent speech by Drs. Umar Priyono, M. Pd as Head of Culture DIY. He said that with this agenda let us love this museum, in museums that we find the things that happened in the past, present and future. And he officially opened the event.

         In this event also conducted embedding pin AMI membership mark by Mr Putu Rudana Supadma, MBA as Chairman of AMI to Drs. Umar Priyono, M. Pd as Head of Culture DIY. This was followed by the release of a gas balloon that reads expectations - expectations of museums in Indonesia of the participants Healthy Way. This event was followed by door prizes to lucky participants Healthy Way, which is enlivened with performances of music groups DIY Air Museum.

        Hopefully, this activity can be improved and hopefully with more activities like this can foster a love of the public, especially the younger generation the existence of museums in Indonesia to continue to study and preserve the cultural heritage of the nation.
