Yogyakarta Special Deaf Parade Participants Visit at Sonobudoyo Museum

On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, Sonobudoyo Museum was visited by the participants of the Jogja Special Deaf Parade organized by the Indonesian Movement for the Deaf Welfare (GERKATIN). This activity is in commemoration of 2019 International Sign Language Day with the theme "Sign Language Rights for All".

The participants of the Jogja Special Deaf Parade were guided to tour Sonobudoyo Museum's exhibition room. Besides being guided by the museum guide, GERKATIN officials also assisted in translating each explanation from the guide into sign language that could be understood by the parade participants.
