On this occasion the Sonobudoyo Museum exhibits a collection with the theme "Pitutur Luhur: Color - The Diversity of the Ancestor's Teachings". Nothing is more troubling than life in the world so fluid as globalization and technological advances are breaking down the old ways of social life. For example, many people are now beginning to voice their opinions without listening to the opinions of others. This simple thing slowly easily triggered a dispute due to cross-pollination. Surely this is a formidable challenge for today's parents to be able to set an example as children grow up by imitating the actions of the surrounding environment.

In Javanese culture, parents have an important responsibility to care and educate (piwulang) the baby from the baby to become 'people'. The advice of these Javanese parents has been descended into the inheritance of ancestors known as "noble pitutur" or moral advice on moral teaching.

The exhibition will take place from 17 - 21 May 2017 at Atrium Jogja City Mall Yogyakarta at 10.00 - 21.00 WIB and can be visited by the general public for free.
