Exhibition of Traditional Musical Instruments Nusantara 2017 has been officially opened by the Governor of the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region, represented by Mrs. Ir. Rani Sjamsinarsi, MT at the Sobobudoyo Museum's yard. The opening ceremony of this exhibition is marked by the beating of Gong Japan and the cutting of the bundle ropes. In the opening of this exhibition is enlivened with performances of AFC Yogyakarta Children's Music Ensemble, Ajatukrama Dance Center from West Nusa Tenggara State Museum, Ethnic Orchestra from ISI Yogyakarta and Joint Angklung Performances from PCBM Directorate of Kemendikbud RI.
The exhibition will take place from today April 26 - May 5, 2017 at the Exhibition Room Sonobudoyo Museum (Ex. Building KONI) Jl. Pangurakan / Trikora No. 4 Yogyakarta. Free.This exhibition was followed by 31 public museums and displayed approximately 200 Traditional Musical Instruments from all over Indonesia. In this exhibition we can also use the android-based application "Tetabuhan Nusaraya" provided that can be used by visitors to know clearly about the musical instruments on display.
In addition there are many supporting events in the national exhibition This traditional musical instruments, including traditional musical performances that will be held every night at 19:00 to 21:00 pm at the Sonobudoyo Museum Page in cooperation with Night At The Museum Community. Free.
