Sonobudoyo Museum Facilitates the Museum Management Workshop For the National Museum of Timor Leste

    The Sonobudoyo Museum facilitates the Museum Management Workshop for the National Museum of Timor Leste. This activity has been officially opened by Head of Department Kebuyaan DIY, Mr. Drs. Umar Priyono, M.Pd in ??Auditorium Room Sonobudoyo Museum on Monday, October 30, 2017 ago. The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of Sonobudoyo Museum, Drs. Diah Tutuko Suryandaru along with structural officials of Sonobudoyo Museum.

    This museum management workshop activity took place since October 31 and is planned to last until 8 November 2017. The event was attended by nine participants from the National Museum team of Timor Leste chaired by Claudio M. Cabral. The materials from this museum management workshop are Valuation Object, Exhibition Making Concept, Practice Making Concept of Exhibition (Based on Field Trip to Museum of Batik Yogyakarta - Dirgantara Mandala Museum and Wanagama Wood Museum), Museum Collection Management, Handling-Packing and Shipping for Museum Object, Practice of Making Condition Report and Packing, Metal and Wood Conservation, Practice Conservation of Metal and Wood, Textile and Stone Conservation, Preventive Conservation.

    It is expected that the workshop participants from the National Museum of Timor Leste can apply the knowledge that has been obtained in this activity and can develop it in their country. And on this day coincides with the age of 82 years hope Sonobudoyo Museum increasingly loved by the community, continue to provide services and benefits for people from within and abroad, and soon to realize the vision of Sonobudoyo Museum "The realization of the Museum of Excellence with International Level of Cultural Express Java".
